So church did not happen, we all needed some extra sleep and time to rest. BUT I did manage to drag the whole family out to Michaels to take advantage of a 50% off coupon and pick up supplies to make hand and footprints of Echo and the rest of the family. Oh and a craft for the kids – they were on sale down to 79 cents – little wooden cut outs and markers, a definite favourite for the kids. But then what kid DOESN’T like markers?
My new project is actually buzzing right along… I am going through all of our outgrown boys’ clothes and discarding anything stained or in major duplicate. I want to get it down to a few buckets for the next friend who has NOT had a son already and is in need of clothing etc.
Ken and I are attempting to go through a file that has a rather large and advance Dinosaur lapbook. Emanuel is in love with dinosaurs and we are planning a trip to the Tyrell Museum in the near future… so I was hoping to put this lapbook together and then work with the whole family to fill it in and learn the contents.
I ordered a set of photos to finish up a bunch of Emanuel’s 2009/2010 scrapbook pages. I am really happy with how they turned out!!
Now to get the rest of the house tidy and the backyard toy free before my mom brings her dog over.
It looks like you have had an addition since I met you about two years ago at a homeschooling meet-up. Congratulations! My kids love those wooden craft kits too. Hope your year goes well.
Hi 🙂 yes, on my new lucky day – Friday August 13th 🙂
I am nervous about it… I want to get the boys involved in things but with an infant and two other small ones it is hard to get out. I HOPE we will make more gatherings this year. We just seem to get out as our family and feel it is such a SUCCESS lol
