Is it REALLY Saturday?

We started our day today with a final attempt at trimming the twins’ hair. I am not sure how happy we are with the results but they at least now are more presentable. The plan is to get them cut by a hairdresser (or my mom) in a month or two. Their hair is so straight and has these very pale sections.

We packed everyone up (Karyn included) and headed to Michaels today for their free craft event – yarn dolls. They were made with a round wooden shape with a hole in the bottom, wooden clothespins (the kind with the metal spring) and yarn. I had to sit with Trinity and make hers as she was playing shy with the girl in charge, but the boys went right at it. Emanuel made a Mr. Lopart (with the comb over and all!) from Handy Manny!

Working together

So cute!

With a bit of time on our hands Karyn and I headed out for a snack and a discussion about Fat Sheep! Specifically The Future Adventures of Fat Sheep. This is something we are working on based around a large stuffed sheep she picked up yesterday. I will link the website once it is up (hopefully late tonight) BUT you can follow Fat Sheep on Twitter – Phatsheepettte…. trust me we are going to go somewhere with this!

Fat Sheep, a profile

Chris and Chris came into town to do taxes and talk wedding and then took us all (and Sean) out to a buffet style restaurant for supper… it was an adventure with at least 3 servers commenting on how sweet and tiny Echo is!!

So much food

So tonight we are all VERY full and rather lethargic. I have a couple craft projects to finish, including some sewing of my own. We already have all the kids’ church clothes sorted out for tomorrow to streamline things. Now if I can just keep focused… and get Echo settled after being out for an evening.

Such a sweety
