So I pretty much slept through April Fool’s Day. BUT on the plus side I am starting to feel a lot more human. Beyond the solid ache in my diaphragm every time I cough or sneeze and the scritchy throat. Today was the first time in days that I actually felt HUNGRY as well!

We actually packed everyone up (Fat Sheep and Petite Sheepette included) and made a trip to The Mall. Ken had promised me poutine and we had all been dying to get outside. It was beautiful out! +6 Celsius and sunny. This also meant a bunch of puddles right in front of our house which made for a bit of a complex manoeuvring getting everyone into the van and NOT soaking wet.

We stopped into H&M and picked up each of our girls a brand new Hello Kitty themed clothing item. A t-shirt for Trinity and a little dress for Echo for them to wear to the birthday party next week. Thankfully the eBay Hello Kitty purchase I made for Trinity came this week so we have a present for her and everything.

Our move by date has officially changed from May 1st to June 1st. I have to admit that even though I know the WHY of Ken’s reasoning I am disappointed. I am not planning on unpacking anything as I have left us enough of everything to survive April so why not May as well, but I really wanted to move sooner. I am dying to be closer to Karyn and my cousins… and ready to have a new start. BUT, the boys will be able to finish out their Sunday School year here at Trinity Lutheran which was something they really wanted. I think I am the most disappointed, this move will affect me the most positively moving me closer to more family and friends and Ken away from the group he has hung out with. So it is hard to be patient.

So other than that today was mainly spent in bed. So not much to share. BUT I have high hopes for this week upcoming. After all there is baking to be done, a party to finalize and life to go on.
