I am definitely feeling the Christmas vibes in my reading lately. For some reason I always get the urge to read Christmas themed books directly after Christmas and these Novellas are a wonderful afternoon read in between presents, hyper kids and post Christmas clean up. This book by Heather Horrocks was a sweet, light read. With a mix of romance, humour and even moments of healing this story has all the elements needed for a post Christmas pick me up. 

I especially enjoyed the internal dialogues with both of the main characters (Lexi the famous decorator and Kyle the children’s book writer). There is no explicit (or non explicit) romance, but instead a focus on the characters getting to know each other, their families and their pasts. And it all started with a perfect snowman. I don’t want to spill too much about the plot as it really is a Novella and not a full sized novel. But if you enjoy some witty dialogue, entertaining children and characters that really DESERVE a Merry Christmas… well, this is the book for you! So keep an eye peeled for Bah, Humbug!
