Living with Miss Scarlett by Sandy St. Clair is a heart warming and humourous tale about two women at a crossroads who were brought together under a mild misunderstanding and together get  a new start in life. One regaining her confidence and life after watching her husband pass away, the other a survivor of spousal abuse.

I have read reviews where they describe the characters as more real than fiction, and I have to agree. You follow along as these two women settle down together in the home once filled with a spouse and children. As they deal with the idea of romance and joy in the midst of sadness, grief and fear. But don’t get me wrong, there are hilarious moments just as there are moments of intense emotion and mind opening truth.

There is the sexy man next door who is a great unknown, and the people in town and surrounding. How do you recoup from a loss, from abuse? Living With Scarlett is an uplifting read with romance, giggles and some serious moment. I would definitely suggest this book!
