Well the first day of May has actually gone quite well. The twins really enjpyed their new toy corner and Emanuel lived it up in the Jumperoo. He and I ended up passing out on the couch during the twins’s nap. It was tough getting them to sleep since the upstairs apartment was having the ceiling repaired.
When Ken went and paid rent we were told the heat is out in our building – that explains why I could not get it on last night and why this morning we were all FREEZING! Luckily the hot water is still working. Hopefully it will either be fixed soon or the weather warm back up. Poor Emanuel, we have to keep working on keeping his hands warm.
This Monday’s Twin Group did not happen for us. I was just too tired and the boys napped somewhat poorly. Instead when Ken got home we went right out to Superstore and got groceries. It is amazing how fast the twins go through food. We need to find some new things for them to eat as they are not interested in the usual stuff. It is hard since we do not give them alot of processed food and they are not allowed any egg content.
I think I am off to bed early tonight… just feeling really worn out lately.
