The basic baking soda and vinegar combination was great to show volcano eruption add in a balloon and give the idea of how the gasses move… or just throw the whole thing in the tub and make fizz over and over again! We had a lovely science kit as well that Grandma and Grandpa Reinsch sent us that we used in the end to build our own volcano. Those can be found EVERYWHERE! Ours was a plaster of Paris version.
