Dryosaurus

The “Oak Tree Lizard” is called so due to the fact that its teeth look like oak leaves. The Dryosaurus is a Cretaceous period dinosaur found in North American and Tanzania. This herbivore was one of the first bird footed dinosaurs to evolve. With its beak, back teeth and 5 fingered front legs it was quite the dinosaur! Now for our I’m a Dinosaur video:

There are a few links to share with this dinosaur. Let’s start with our deviantArt artist Zakafreakarma who created the colouring page we used for Emanuel. You can find it HERE. EnchantedLearning has a fact sheet HERE. Dinosaurs.about.com has a brief page HERE. Jurassic Park has a little picture of our herbivore HERE. Animal Planet discusses our dinosaur HERE. National Park Service has a great picture of the skeleton of our dinosaur HERE. KidsDinos.com has charts and map HERE. And of course, Wiki has their article HERE.
