Monday has dawned with a little ray of hope… Ken managed to SPEAK to an aid to our MP instead of just leaving a message. And said aid seemed to actually be willing to help and felt Ken had been wronged by that most difficult branch of the government. The hope is that this aid will be able to speed things along and maybe get us some results… finally!

I got some nice mail today! I am a part of the Bigfish game club and have been for a little over a year! So today I got my 1yr subscription gift – a Bigfish mascot! Trinity was quite impressed. Actually lately she has been mostly interested in ANY toy that has an actual discernible face.

1 Year Gift!

She stole my little Kinder surprise toys – the Winnie the Pooh and Disney people I got ages ago when I was pregnant with Emanuel and totally craving their chocolate. She is very good at not putting things in her mouth any more but still I had to eventually pry them out of her hands!

Busy Little Thing

On of the ladies in my local crafting group was so sweet as to give me some spare stuffing she had (of the teddy kind) as well as a slightly mauled monkey backpack (her puppy got his teeth into an ear). So thankful! I needed the stuffing for Trinity’s dinosaur (pinning was accomplished LAST night – tonight I sew on the eyes and get my machine out of storage) and the same for the monkey! Ken and Emanuel went to her work to pick it up! Emanuel was the lucky boy who got to run errands with Daddy and even got a cookie out of the deal. He was so proud. Ken is going to start rotating the boys on errands. I think some of their acting out is a want for more one on one time.

Proud Errand Boy!

We have been focusing mainly on fall and dinosaurs today. Lots of colouring and practising letters – copying the names of dinosaurs and such. Each of the big boys drew their own fall picture which they are quite proud of. They have finally started having a ground and a sky. It is amazing how they progress in their art.

I am spending the evening baking. Cookies, bread, cinnamon buns… so not much time for anything else and a good indication I should post this and get back to it!
