Much to Do Where is the Time to Do it?

I have come to realize that I am surrounded by the unpredictable. I make plans, set up things “to do” and the unique members of my family set themselves to undo and re-plan. Thank goodness it is endearing! Well… sort of!

I have been trying, with little success, to get the Insect lapbooks completed. I suggest, I prepare and I am optimistic and life gets in the way. Of course life has meant a drastic shift in little boy interest to – DINOSAURS! So onto the internet I go – worksheets, colouring pages (Emanuel’s favourite) and whatever else I can find. This does not bode well for my wish to  get done FALL this month and move on to Winter and Christmas… but at least we are learning!

Thank goodness for the internet is all I can say! I love taking the kids to the library but unlike the last town we lived in the nearest library is not a simple walk away. They also do not have the extensive children’s section here that we were used to. It makes me want to plan in time to stop by the old one on our next visit to my mom’s! I am slowly collecting a series of links that I have found useful, some day I will have to actually ORGANIZE them on the laptop.

Speaking of organizing – I am getting closer to having our family gallery up to date! Mid to late October finally! So be sure to click the link at the top right and check it out.

Stitching wise I have started, worked on and completed a new pattern – the Plumber’s Creed… a bit crass but the friend who requested it for Christmas should hopefully be pleased!

Otherwise I am spending the rest of my evening with the dinosaur, making cards and eventually baking sugar cookie trains… So I should REALLY get on that! I promise a much more illuminating blog entry tomorrow!!!
