The weather may not have improved but we did have some great company today. For the first time in what feels like FOREVER we had my friend from University Kathy stop by. She came bearing massive amounts of crafting supplies which I now have to find a home for in my own stash. Everything from paper to cutting tools to adhesive. Talk about an amazing present! I have already taken advantage of the new supplies and done up FOUR new pages!

We had lunch out at The Mall at Old Spaghetti Factory and then did some shopping at the Millennium store that carries stuff for the Gothic lifestyle and those interested in fantasy objects – lots of pretty faerie and dragon statues. We stopped in at H&M and sourced out some dress shoes for Trinity for almost HALF the price I was looking at at Superstore… BONUS! Now to bring her back to the store this week to try them on (probably with tears ensuing).

The weather is certainly NOT as spring like as it was last week… though certainly not unheard of for Alberta, we would much rather have the warm and sunny weather back. The kids and myself are DYING to have the first picnic of the year. Not to mention a kiddy pool in the backyard and lots of walks to the park.

I have had nothing else to work on but Baby #5’s stocking this past week, it is coming along nicely. Since there is no rush on it until we hit October I am just sitting in wait for the rest of the designs Ken owes me.

Stocking to Date

There was a request for belly pictures so I had Ken take one (clothed) tonight. I am hoping to do some more creative and artistic ones this week. It is hard to do anything other than the norm when Ken is being silly about it, but he has promised to seriously help me out and take some nice 2nd trimester pictures. We are getting professional ones done in July for the 3rd trimester but the budget cannot be stretched for more than that.

So definitely a fun Saturday and this evening Karyn is over after her time at the ballet. Now to get down to business and find a place for all these new craft supplies!!
