Back to regularly scheduled blogging with a loooooong (I am thinking) catch up on some general goings on for our schooling and such. The week ended on a sour note but our weekend is already back on the upswing. Tonight – ART by the kids… one of our Friday assignments was to write a mini story and picture about the goings on of Fat Sheep. After all Fat Sheep (to help perk up yours truly no less!!!) started sharing some of her potential Fat Sheep book art!! You can check it out right HERE. She is calling for story ideas and so we had our boys sit and have a brainstorm… as you can see below – a bit of a JUNGLE theme… but we all know Fat Sheep was an adventurous sheep in her youth!!! Enjoy!

“Fat Sheep went to visit the 6 monkey in the jungle. They had a party and ate bananas.” (what was not written but explained to me what that that tree in the front is a Christmas tree that was MUCH too SMALL for all the presents under it!!!)

Zander's story and art

“One day Fat Sheep went to the jungle with Karyn. They had a safari. It was super fun.” What amazed me was SAFARI was ZANDER’S word!!! Note the amazing and fantastical hairstyle he created for our Karyn. Included in this picture is a monkey, parrot and of course… Karyn’s car!

No written story for this one as Emanuel does not have the patience or knowledge of letters yet to reproduce much more than his name… but I was TOLD about this one – apparently this is Fat Sheep, Emanuel, Echo and Mommy at a party! Look at how happy we are to be there with FS!

A special picture Zander drew for Myself and Karyn

This was drawn while I was out and about with Karyn, Victoria and Lauralee (I see more adventures with this amazing threesome in the future!! Especially once we up and move to the same city that Karyn and Lauralee live in – Victoria is not that far from there either YAY!). Note the coloured outline — apparently that is our clothes?? But still, art is art and I am honoured to be one of the subjects of this piece!
