Of Crafts and Wind and Other Aimless Things

Windy windy windy… so much so in fact that this afternoon I received very little resistance to the twins staying inside. While we didn’t do our usual school work the boys played a puzzle and number game that Ken has on his netbook. They are getting quite good with the mouse, but we are VERY limiting to their time on there. It quickly becomes a source of argument, frustration and a reason to refuse doing other “less fun” things.

Gaming it up

Around lunchtime all 4 kids sat around the little table with their outside craft box from last year and got creative. Gavin took a piece of white paper and a look at the front of Trinity’s favourite Hello Kitty colouring book and created this!

Both boys made a virtual army of skateboards that we now have to find some sort of further use for.

And Emanuel made some sort of sticker collage type thing for Grandma. Including copying her name out in his own printing!

I have gotten in some stitching time on the mini project… can you guess what it is yet? This is definitely something Trinity would like, though it is NOT for her.

Stitch to date

We finally heard back from the place Fydo looked at for us… we are second in line and the owner things the people first in line may not be taking it. So… still not the answer I was hoping for BUT fingers crossed everyone PLEASE!

Our family is growing up!!!

Tomorrow is a BIG day for our family – Echo is officially 9 months old on Friday the 13th. I am making the tutu tonight as it is the only chance we have had to get the tulle cut. So hopefully tomorrow I will get some marvellous pictures of the lovely Miss Echo!
