What can I say, I am a HUGE fan of Juliet Blackwell. I am so glad she has two series on the go, less of a wait for more of her amazingly entertaining writing. And this book was another gem. Once again you join Lily as she continues to put down roots in San Francisco… She is joined by some of my favourite characters… Bronwyn (the Wiccan), Aidan Rhodes (the super powerful male witch), Maya (the student) and my personal favourite Sailor (the unhappy psychic). 

The mystery of this book is focused on a young single mother… Miriam with her spirit displaced. I love how the mystery was NOT predictable, how Lily is growing and changing as the series continues. I don’t want to give away too much but I had a few twinges with the ending… I wish the next book was already done and sitting there for me to read… and the introduction of some different covens and characters brought in some new dimension to Lily’s area of San Francisco.

If you haven’t read Juliet Blackwelland you are interested in mystery with a light touch of romance… oh and some magic mixed in… a MUST read!!! Both of her series!!!
