I am in the midst of a battle of wills of the worst kind – with two almost 3 year olds! The past two days have been bad Bad BAD! They have gone from lots of smiles and lovely words to refusing to talk, refusing to sign and scream scream scream. Over night almost they are complaining when they poop or pee, not before they start but during but will NOT talk. So we are being tough – I will not change them if they just scream and I keep telling them if you do NOT want to be in a wet diaper you need to TELL mommy you need to go. What I am thinking is that these two are right there on the verge – if I can out last them on this screaming thing we may see our break through and get WORDS !!! JOYOUS WORDS! Even with Ken home today it was a battle though (he was feeling under the weather and tired out). We did not go to shop today or take the twins to my mom’s – the weather was frigid and blizzardy. So tomorrow the whole family is bundling up and going to Superstore for groceries and the tentative plan is that the twins will go to mom’s on Friday. She does not have Saturday off so has no plans.

I am rather proud of myself, after watching my movie and dealing with a fussy Gavin and feeding Emanuel I took two post it notes and stuck them on Ken’s pc monitor and the tv (the two places Ken was certain to look when getting home from his night shift) and then went and got me cute little nighty that I had gotten for my honeymoon that actually still looks nice even after having kids! (I mean this is a MIRACLE nighty hehe – Victoria REALLY needs to share those secrets) Off to bed I went and around 2 hours later woken by my love with a kiss… romance ensues CUT TO BLACK

Anyhoo so Ken was home and I got a nap today. I am still a little sore from playing tennis on the Wii but we are having fun with it. It is nice to have something a little more physical (now no dirty jokes thank you) to do when the weather is absolutely horrible. Emanuel loves watching us play and the twins think it is so funny us moving around at nothing.
Life just keeps on going I guess. Ken is calling in sick for his night shift tonight too. With the weather so crappy I would rather he did and got some rest, we really cannot have him getting really sick. I guess next week he will have to pick up another night UGH. But we do need the money…
Well I am clean out of insightful babble. Ken heard from one of the two that are divorcing and I guess she moved out of their apartment today – I can only believe how final that would feel for him, I know it is hard for me to grasp. I wish them nothing but well and if they need to be apart to be happy so be it I just hope they stay safe and in touch. Love is a really difficult thing isn’t it?
