Ok so spring is definately here! Today it has reached 28 cel. We spent the morning downtown at Jaywalker’s. Not a huge display this year but we did manage to get some yummy food and I purchased a nice shirt to wear to the baby shower tomorrow. The twins had their first cotton candy – took a little convincing but once they tried it they were happy to take many pinches, course once their hands got sticky they refused to lick them off. Thank goodness for wipes. Emanuel tried our natural lemonade (basically a strong lemon water) and loved it. He is getting so good with straws and cups but still grumpy about milk… go figure, the other two would drink litres at a time if we would let them. I stopped at the little stand from our favorite noodle place and got two beef kabobs that the twins shared with me… SO GOOD!
We stopped in at the outlet store where my mom works to say hi too. Emanuel got to get out of his stroller and toddle around. The twins were content in their wagon – you heard me right – we WALKED – Ken’s foot finally seems to be pretty well healed! YAY. Tonight I am hoping he will take the twins out to play with their new scooters OUTSIDE for the first time, the boys have been dying to wear their helmets – just wait til they get them on though! That opinion may change.
I got all of Ken’s pay stubs photocopied, tonight we go through them to make sure none are missing and then as soon as possible Monday morning Ken is to fax them from work so we can be sure we meet the deadline. It is like 89 cents a page to fax at Staples and trust me we have ALOT to fax so it is more affordable to do it at his work. I will feel 110% better once we get this out and start the processing. Apparently I can apply for debt reduction 3 times – just a year of loan payments in between – so if you are done schooling and willing to agree not to get loans again – apply!!
We had to go to Superstore and get some more water – when we move and have the room I am so getting a dispenser. The boys lucked out and each got a toy car, Emanuel got a new Baby Einstein – Baby Noah – suggested to me by Melissa. The twins watched a bit before they went down for a much needed nap and were very intrigued. What I need to do is look up the Baby Einstein toddler show and see if they like that, I am pretty sure it is on Treehouse so I could PVR it. And if they REALLY love it get a couple of the videos.
So the rest of today is resting until it cools off and then working on the fax info and looking at the forms from the mortgage broker. I added a couple more cousins to my Facebook! Both sides of the family in fact! Which is nice… I have been more out of touch with the MacLean (mom’s) side than I really would have liked to be. I basically finished the stitch for my cousin’s baby except the full name info and a colour I am missing. So onto Christmas gifts for the little girls I will be mailing out. And then back to mom’s and its plethora of Frech Knots – if I am not a pro at them by the end of hers – well then I am HOPELESS! So lots of quiet work, nothing very energetic. We so need to figure out a fan that will work in our bedroom! AC should be a RIGHT not a PRIVALEGE!
