I promise more content very soon… but for now… KITTIES!
Yup enough pics to make a mini post!!!
Aren’t they all just purrrr-fect?
Surprise Surprise… I am almost current! Woo! Well, October is Halloween (of course), and Ken’s birthday (39 this year!) AND Canadian Thanksgiving (yup this Canadian girl still celebrates).
We started off the month with a trip to Home Depot.
Visited a pumpkin patch with a lovely group of friends.
We visited the Schwartz family for a bonfire and shooting off of rockets.
And had them over to our place as well.
Enjoyed all the colours of fall.
We learned about bats and made our very own cave in the cabinet.
We found plenty of time to do crafts and worksheets and learn as best we could.
We celebrated Nathan’s birthday at a super fun trampoline place.
We spent time at the YMCA – swimming, working out and club.
And we snuck out on the warm days.
October was a lovely refocus of our time. Lots of friends and family and quiet celebrations (we had take out for Thanksgiving, nothing fancy).
So enjoy the photos and the memories as I work my way to current and we currently wrap up 2016.
Well, the obvious comes to mind right off – Canada Day and Independence Day. We celebrate both, of course. Canada Day (HERE) always makes me a wee bit homesick. July 4th (HERE) was fun as well. July is also Grandma’s birthday up in Canada. And full blown summer fun here in Minnesota.
We lucked out and managed to make Home Depot where the kids made little bowling alleys. Which were PERFECT for the 18 inch dolls, I am told.
I managed to finish a prayer shawl for the Catholic church down the road, along with a pocket prayer shawl.
We spent TONS of time at the YMCA.
Walked back and forth for ClubY.
Played outside whenever we could.
Ken made the girls a reading corner in the sunroom out of fabric and a hula hoop!
Hung out with our homeschool friends at the park as often as we could.
Made sure to document all the pretty flowers.
Visited our godson Anthony after emergency appendix surgery.
Met a brand new baby! Congrats Cory and Karen!
We even snuck in time for homeschooling.
Echo even went to Evan’s birthday party SOLO with dad!
Experienced the County Fair. (see the county fair blog post)
Were ditched by the boys who went to the cabin (too many mosquitoes for our allergic girls).
