Rainy Day

I have to admit this getting up early thing while Ken and the twins head off to VBS is already wearing me out. Of course I DID stay up late playing with the evil machine (aka Cricut). I managed to finish all the paper work for my nephew’s gift, all that is left is for the boys to complete their project… But this puts me out of commission on projects momentarily and with the Cricut staring me in the face… harsh! I have an idea based on a panda I cut out that was a spare and some maternity photos we took previous… but I have to decide if I want to do an 8X8 and have to find myself a little album or cut a page down to 8X10 and frame it for the wall. Certainly do NOT have the budget for a canvas right about now.

Emanuel’s theme for the day – ZEBRAS and PURPLE. His concentration was a little spotty since Trinity was in the mood for a Kai Lan marathon and nothing else but we managed. I am not sure what animal it will be tomorrow but I am sure it will be cute!

We had a homeschool mom stop by with some outgrown school supplies. She had given us some at the beginning of last year and now that her son is done with grade 2 passed along a few more. I am still working out how to plan out a whole year and really utilize what we have been given or bought. It is definitely a learning process and makes me VERY happy there are 2 (soon to be 3) more kids to grow into all these supplies.

New supplies!

VBS was great fun according to the twins. While they were in class Ken managed to run a few errands and work from the van in the netbook. So we all were kept busy. They only have two more days and I am sure are going to be sad to see it end. The next big activity we have to decide about is a soccer camp at a local church that is set to occur right around (and on) my due date.

Now if only the monsoon would end. This weekend is wide open for things like a run to the zoo or visiting Grandma and their local splash park. The hope is the weather will clear up by Friday (when all we have scheduled is Trinity’s yearly) so while Ken is gone I can send the boys outside to play.

HUGS!
