Little known fact about Lisa Reinsch-Johnson (Aka ME). Keep her up past 4 am to watch the last episodes of the first season of Haven (which ended on a cliff hanger darn it) and she is a basket case of tears and silly mindless thoughts. OK but it was worth it to see the ending though COME ON I have to wait til summer or fall for the next season? I am still nursing the disappointment that season 2 of Sherlock is not until later this year as well!!!

Add to that the fact Ken laughed at my, let’s call them quirky comments and tears and of course that helped… Not.

Well we are well along in our Chinese New Year books. They have a space left for the kids to add something after our Saturday outing. Nothing fancy but they had fun making them.

We started on frogs today, mainly colouring of pictures so far but tomorrow we move onto actual concepts and information. Here is where we got our Dot-to-Dot, and our word search!

For Valentines Day we started work on our foam project – doily heart cards. Stickers, ribbon and foam shapes… how can anyone be unhappy with those items at their disposal??

I have no new sewing projects to report on sadly, everything is still in design stage and with debts to repay and a move in the spring we HAVE TO be up to date on ALL utilities for (and have other monies) Ken is working harder than ever to bring in the contracts. So if anyone needs a website designed… programming work done… he is TERRIFIC (and I am not just saying that… he really does know his stuff and has been doing it since he was a child!). But that does mean our time together is super limited (thus the very late night last night – so we could have some quality together time we REALLY needed).

I am not sure how the rest of the week is going to play out. I know that we need to get Zander’s glasses ordered and Ken and I have to get out without the boys to pick up their birthday presents (that is something I want done THIS week… with Ken’s folks coming next week and our weekend already having activities planned I want to have the time to clean before they get here). But nothing is set in stone. It is also time to do portraits of the boys for their birthdays. And birthday cupcakes on the 3rd and 5th. I still find it hard to believe that tomorrow Emanuel will be FIVE! Where has the time gone???

A late night tonight with the kids as we had to wait for Ken to finish something work wise before he headed off to the grocery store to get what we needed for dinner but my evening is finally free to work on the stuff left to finish for the boys. Sometime in the near future I also need to sort through and post on Kijiji my maternity clothes. Not worth keeping them really. But here it is the 2nd of February and I am posting again. A good start to the month!
