Facilitator Seen… Doctor Not So Much

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! We didn’t really get into the holiday this year with the kids, just had them wear green and take a picture, but next year that is going to be a part of our educational plan.

(Echo's shirt is green and blue striped)

Today was SUPPOSED to be Echo’s 6 month appointment… but we got a call (does this sound familiar? starting to feel like a broken record) from the doctor’s office and had to reschedule for tomorrow. Now I am NOT holding my breath as to this appointment actually happening but we can hope right? We are still attempting to reschedule the appointment Public Health cancelled with us LAST week. Seriously Echo has NO luck.

What DID happen today was the twins’ second visit of the year with there homeschool board facilitator. He was here well over the one hour we had allotted and the boys had an absolute blast. They showed off a selection of their finished work and projects, talked about what they had learned and taught him their two dice games (tomorrow we are going to learn two more!). He was very happy with their progress and ours as  teachers and parents as well. We will see him again in the fall unless we feel we need some in person support!

After we said good bye to the facilitator and cleaned up the mess we had made with all their work out in the living room the boys went outside for a bit of fun in the warmer weather… but don’t get me wrong – we woke up to MORE SNOW this morning (an actual substantial amount) and then even more fell this afternoon. Seriously enough already!

Gavin in the snow

Now with the week being almost over, I am already trying to make plans for the weekend. As it stands right now we will be going to the den Otter’s again after Sunday School. Saturday is looking to  be Ken’s run around day. There are bottles to take in and this and that to pick up… myself, I see much more packing in my future! But in the meantime, to help with the multi tasking I have moved Karyn’s Cricut to the black table near my chair and am making some smaller die cuts for scrapbooking (I am hoping Ken will pick up my photos from Superstore tomorrow). More kitties!

A small selection

I have continued my packing. The boys collected up all their Little People for me (when did we ever collect so many?) and then of course Trinity had to spend today searching around and finding more and playing with those. The boys are taking down a box every night or so and filling it with toys for me and then bringing it up in the morning. I don’t want to leave any cardboard boxes in the basement with all this snow yet to melt. Better safe than sorry!

A head’s up on the photos on this entry. I am making the final decision on which is the best on Monday!! So get in your votes!!!

Now to get back to crafting, cleaning and of course … packing!
