First off – Happy St. Patricks Day. For a Friday we are rather low key here today. Runny noses on the twins and a sore throat for Mommy…but we ARE all wearing green.
It is funny how much easier it is for me to find a moment to type here when I am having trouble getting time to sit down and write in my journal. After keeping journals for literally 13 years I am starting to think I may have to face facts – I simply do not have the time to drag out the book and the pen and sit and write, though I am able to type with a baby in my lap. Thank goodness for the ability to multi-task.
Next week is actually going to be a busy one! We have a friend down from Calgary for 5 days, the twins are getting assessed for language skills, we are getting our taxes done (hopefully a nice fat rebate???), rescheduled Twin Group meeting at the indoor playground… AND we get to pick up our baby announcements which means I will be hard at work writing labels and such. What fun.
Now if only I could get 8 hours of sleep in a row – oh well one Emanuel sleeps through the night so will I – I hope !!!
But for now I have a Beef and Gravy slow cooking recipe to check on, two stinkers to change and put down for nap and a baby to cuddle – What a Wonderful Life
