The weather certainly did not work out on our side today. Not only was it too windy and cold to go for a walk but it was SNOWING this morning! Thankfully they were able to fix the heat before lunch and we even had a plumber come by and FINALLY fix our leaky tub faucet!! YAY
Well tomorrow night Ken is to play his online game so we are up to a walk on Thursday or, at the very least driving downtown to the Dollar Store to price out party supplies for Emanuel’s upcoming baptism and then the Christian Bookstore Wiseman’s Way for Mother’s Day cards for the boys’ godmothers. Ken is going to send off the ones to Grandmas and Great Grandmas tomorrow.
My hairdresser is retiring this month but Ken managed to get the twins one last appointment with her – on the 11th. We will bring in Emanuel for her to meet too. I am a little sad about her retiring – she has done my hair since I was 13 or so, I babysat her kids! But she has some major health concerns and really needs to look after herself better.
Ken did a major clean and rearrange of the diningroom/kitchen tonight. It looks so nice and clean. Hopefully it will stay that way. We just keep rearranging and making more space. Gotta work with what we have right?
Tomorrow Emanuel will be 3 months old!! Ken and I are going to try and take some unique pictures as I need one for his baby book and would like to have a couple to chose from to put one on the picture wall. I think we will go to Walmart and get his 1 yr done but otherwise I am on my own to be creative and get some more interesting shots (like the sleeping bunny one). We’ll see what we get… I am going to try and get some different ones through out the day.
Well at least the faucet in the bathroom no longer drips hot water… now to just get the back exterior door re-keyed so I can leave the double stroller downstairs…
