Ken stayed home today since I was feeling under the weather. So I got a morning nap AND a bath! Emanuel even had an extra nap or two! On the other hand, the twins did NOT. Zander is a monkey climbing in and out of the cribs so we have to just keep on them. Gavin doesn’t climb out, he doesn’t have to… Zander does and then gives him toys. It is frustrating.
I am giving anime watching a rest – it is really starting to mess with my dreams (Ouran High School Host Club, some Marmalade Boy, Boys Over Flowers – I read the episodes for that one instead, Wedding Peach – again I watched a bunch and then the end – this was much like Sailor Moon and Paradise Kiss – I skipped to the end of the series, was not impressed by the ending or the middle for that matter… I am still looking for more Shoujo anime the light hearted happily ever after romance type – most of these weren’t!). So instead I am catching up on all my Pvr’d stuff – much to Emanuel’s delight. We watched Hogan’s Heroes, Mary Tyler Moore and Happy Days. All his favorites… The weather is still too cold to get out and about so not much to do.
We had our reading lady on Thursday… the twins even used glue sticks for the first time! So now we need to go out and get some. The ones I have have dried up. I am thinking of bringing down their more complex puzzles and we are still looking for a fishing game.
Well Ken is at Sharon Bleau’s birthday party. Darryl did not call us til this afternoon so no sitter for the twins (my mom is dealing cards at the legion for charity) and I have been under the weather so I am home alone… hopefully the kids will sleep as I am still feeling rather BLAH.
Tomorrow is our last rhyming group session… sad now what will I do on Saturdays???
Well off to find something OTHER than anime to watch!!
