Ok so I have had one of "those days"… This morning the twins were rather grumpy – ok they were all out three years old. Emanuel has been fussy with his teething and toys were a point of contention all round. Zander went so far as to put his mouth on Emanuel’s hand like he was going to bite him. I was furious. I thought we were done with the biting….
Ok so off to nap goes Emanuel after nursing. The twins eat their lunch and off to nap for them… or they should have. Emanuel wakes up from his nap and I have been in the twins’ room at least 3 times. The last time they had yanked some clothes out of their dresser and were running wild. I fed Emanuel and hear a weird noise – I went in to look and they had somehow torn a tiny piece of plastic off the mattress and gotted it into the fan we had put in their room so it was making a weird noise ARGH. So I had to remove the fan which caused Gavin to go into melt down mode. I moved him back to the bed from in front of the door twice and ignored the screaming… during all of this the neighbors downstairs were blasting country music (what is it we get what seems like a truce noise wise with the people upstairs and now it is downstairs???). So I go to call to vent to someone and THE PHONE IS NOT WORKING!!! Ok fine I msn Ken and get no answer so I run down to get the mail and what is down there? A fair sized phone bill but no cut off notice. I nudge Ken on msn and he says he had worked out with them a payment plan and it should not have been off… but it is! Ken does not have time to call Telus right now so I am phoneless… and frustrated. Someone wanna tell me when things get easier? Ken has the cell so I am on my own til after 5.
I just feel like having a great big CRY! Hopefully everything works out tonight. At least Ken is taking care of it. Makes me feel really good to have him step in and be in charge. Somedays I really miss the easy moments of high school, where the money I made went to clothes and junk food. Now the money Ken makes goes to diapers and babyfood.
On a positive note Emanuel signed "please" today. He is so cute when he signs. Now if we can just work out those teeth.
