You read it right – snow…. we had rain all day and then suddenly big fluffy flakes!!! Is spring in Alberta not totally and utterly confusing and frustrating? Now the big hope is that those big white flakes don’t stick around. That’s all we need – another reason to be stuck indoors and on Monday I have to walk the boys a couple of blocks to their 3rd attempt to get their teeth cleaned, mom is going to meet us there to help out.
We did not make it out to the post box today but the boys did have a nice nap and though frustrating were not total little hellions. Last night Emanuel ate about a third of a cantelope! The boys loves his fruit! His left top front tooth finally came in, now we are waiting on the right.
The twins are definately pushing limits this week, it is a huge adjustment going from seeing daddy in the morning to not at all and him coming home a minimum of an hour later than he used to. So I expected acting out I just did not expect it to get to me as much as it does. Ken says the problem is they really take after him! At least Emanuel is still pretty easy going.
One of Ken’s friends in Minnesota is expecting their first baby in October – is this not the year for babies?? So another baby gift to work on. I have 4 people to do them for – 2 cousins, Xinny and now this couple. Hopefully that will be it for the year. Figures the year I decide to make our Christmas presents tons of people have babies!
We may be coming to the end of breastfeeding Emanuel, more and more it is just a quick thing and he is done… but he is intent, if we try to skip it at lunch he gets mad. I am not sure what I want to do. For now I plan on continuing – first thing in the morning now he also wants to nurse and this lasts longer than it used to. At least he is letting me have baths though!
Well it is the weekend and next weekend is the party so busy busy. Hopefully I can get some rest as well as scrapbooking done. I got most of our mother’s day cards done but ran out of stickers to stick to copies of the boys’ art to the cards so I will pick those up tomorrow and get them done as well as envelopes so I can get them sent off on Monday – mom gets off at 4 so we should be going for a walk. So much to do and only one of me!
